BaddWorx 2025

BADDWORX is BACK for 2025, bigger and BADDER!

The numero uno Devonport dirt jumping event is looking to blow the roof off of Woodall Park in Devonport, Saturday March 29th kicking off at 10am sharp!

BADDWORX has something for everyone, from the small grommet who wants to compete so dad can get a photo, to the seasoned pro who wants to take home the glory and bragging rights of being crowned the BADDWORX winner, there’s Junior, Under 12’s, and Elite classes.

With FREE registration, FREE Entry, FREE BBQ and FREE water, come along and enjoy the fun of seeing these wheeled gladiators battle it out in the dirt arena!

This year’s theme is ‘Destroy Your Screen, Ride A Bike!’ A nod to the underlying ethos of BADDWORX and the BADDLANDS pump track. Let’s do all that we can to get kids off devices, away from screens, out and about having fun with other kids, meeting new friends, riding bikes, and being in a positive and accepting environment that champions the ‘give it a go’ rebel attitude.

We’re over the moon to announce that we have a stacked array of sponsors supporting the event this year.
Thanks to the Devonport-Takapuna Local Board for their continuing support of this kaupapa, and Devonport Rotary for all the hard work behind the scenes.
For 2025, we’ve also partnered with 0800 what’s up youth helpline. Growing up is tough, especially in this day and age of social media and technology, and it’s sometimes difficult to find someone to talk to about your problems, so 0800 what’s up provides much needed counselling services to our rangatahi who just need a korero.
Grousse signage will be taking care of all our event signage on the day, and naturally kids are a local daycare who go above and beyond to help the community, plus they’re just good buggers.
The whanau from North Harbour BMX will be there to handle registration on the day.
Prize packs will be OVER FLOWING this year from our industry partners! Grommets, get ready to win some prizes and there’ll be some AWESOME giveaways on the day!
ODI Grips, The Shadow Conspiracy, Motomuck, Wide Open, Tempered Goods, Schwalbe Tires, Crank brothers, Marin Bikes, and BADD Optics.

If you haven’t seen it, go and check out the awesome article from spoke magazine covering last year’s event.

A fan favourite at the 2024 event, taking 3rd place in the pro class, Brad Webb, had this to say:
‘It’s pretty ghetto, you’re doing well to even make it through all the jumps..’

Marin pro Jayden Fleming narrowly missed out on the top spot on the podium in 2024, instead settling for 2nd:
‘I was actually mean to be on a tinder date, but she cancelled, and BADDWORX seemed like the next best thing…’

First place in pro and taking home the wine glasses courtesy of Devonport Rotary,
Lewis Jones has this to say about the event:
‘I actually didn’t even know the event was on, we were in Auckland for a trademe pick up so I thought I’d come check it out, I’m glad we did though…’

Registration is now OPEN, so head along and sign up, and keep an eye on the socials for more updates coming soon.

BADDWORX acknowledges te iwi o te mana whenua on which the BADDLANDS sits.
Mihi nui to those past, present, and future.
